Part 2 of my 2022 Project Round-up – My Yearly Assemblage!

If you were here last week, you saw Part 1 of my round-up of my favorite projects of the year. And this week, I’m brining to you 5 more (plus 2 bonuses!).

These last few projects include some of my favorite things – hidden pockets, folios and easy projects to make for friends!

So, without further ado – let’s get to Part 2 of this Assemblage!

  • Project 1 – Versitile Ephemera Holder
While I’m not as great at snail mail as I wish I was – these fun little 5×7 pockets make the perfect mail-able for ephemera or notes to friends. They come together quick, and use only 2 sheets of 81/2 x 11″ paper!
  • Project 2 – Trifold Tag with Hidden Pocket
Hidden pockets. If I can put them in a project, I probably will! I don’t know what it is – maybe it comes from me being the middle child and never feeling like I had any privacy? Well, it’s more likely just that I’ve always loved surprises and having different ways of hiding things just makes me happy. So – since you always see tags inside journals, I thought combining both a tag and a hidden pocket was pretty close to perfect.

  • Project 3 – Enchanted File Folder Folio
My friend Tonya asked me to help her modify some digital flower children she had, and after working with her on it, we decided having a digital kit using these little cuties would be perfect! So, I made my Enchanted kit – and couldn’t stop there, so made the Add-on kit, and thought it would be fun to make a project from it as well. Starting with a base of a manila file folder – I made this enchanting little folio using the kits!

  • Project 4 – Cabinet Card with a Hidden Pocket
Ok – is it getting old yet? Yep – another project with a hidden pocket, and this one turned out SO FUN. I can definitely see me using something like this in every journal from here on out! You could absolutely use real cabinet cards for this project, but I decided to use some digital cards instead. Don’t have the digitals or the real cards? You can grab a cabinet card front and back from my freebies page!

  • Project 5 – Christmas Envelope Folio
I try to make a Christmas journal ever year. This year, I decided to turn it into more of a Christmas planner – with lots of pockets and journaling spots to keep receipts, gift lists, holiday menus and so much more. I started with just 3 envelopes, and created quite a little planner – ready to be filled with all the goodies of the season!
  • Bonus #1 – Ring Bound Junk Journal Style Bullet Journal
I had to include this as a bonus – mainly because I ended up using it almost the entire year! It was so useful – and I found inspiring to continue doing some planning throughout the year. Keep an eye out, because I have a feeling I’ll be putting another one of these together for 2023!

  • Bonus #2 – Quick Christmas Notebooks
Yep – one more bonus! I had to add this one in becuase I think these little notebooks that come together in about an hour are great gifts for ANY occasion. I’m using Christmas napkins for the ones you see here, but you can change these out for any fun pattern. And, the best thing about them are they can be made for your non-junk journal friends – since, if you are like me, you probably have a lot of those!
