Bird Themed Layered Timecard Pockets

I’ve been trying to work on having some more ephemera “at the ready” when I’m working on a journal, because it makes it so much easier to embellish the pages.

I also have a stack of timecards just lying around in a drawer not doing anything, so I thought I’d put them to work! Timecards are perfect to use as a sturdy base for notecards, tags and even pockets. They are long enough to fold, too, which makes it super easy to create a pocket. And, depending on how you glue the pocket in your journal, you can create a layered pocket as well!

Amanda from Your Creative Studio graciously gifted me the May subscription box which has a bird theme, and I thought I’d use some of the supplies to make these fun bird themed layered pockets.

They come together fast and I really love how they are each very different, but work so well together. Great to grab for a bird or spring journal!

I’m doing a little unboxing of the entire May subscription box, and then I’m making these fun pockets. Head to the video below to join me in using up some timecards!
