That Bulky Travel Journal
I’m headed out on a Christmas market tour soon, and I always like to have a journal with me to jot down memories and collect bits from the trip.
I usually put something together ahead of time with printed cards and vintage pictures of the places I’m going to be, so I can easily put notes and attach them to the things I’m seeing.
So – nothing out of the ordinary – I did that again for this trip – but as I began collecting the things I wanted to put into my travel journal BEFORE the trip even began, I realized that a simple folio was going to be way to bulky.
So, in true Sharon form – I split the journal into 2, and realized that I didn’t want 2 notebooks to take with me – or to even have for later. I wanted one. It was one trip – so I wanted one journal to collect my memories. And what I came up with did just that.
I do a flip through of the journal with the pictures and ephemera I used to put it together so you can be inspired to put your own journal together. And I also show you how to take 2 journals and sew them together as 1 and then reinforce them to travel with you.
