How to make a book from envelopes

If you haven’t guessed by now, I have a thing for books. Like all kinds of books. Old books, new books, art journal books, lap books, flip books, artist books – you name it! If it’s a book, I want to check it out!

And not only check it out, but probably MAKE it. I love trying different binding styles, different signature types, different covers. I don’t think I’ll ever get to the end of what I want to try to make.

I was inspired to make this envelope flipbook from a tag book that I saw recently and thought it would be fun to try with a stationery set I got that had a bunch of envelopes in it. But – if you like making envelopes yourself (to use up paper supplies you might have lying around!), you could definitely do this with envelopes you make.

I made the cover from chipboard and digital art prints from my Midnight Stroll kit and it turned out better than I pictured in my mind (which is hard to do!). If you’d like the step by step on how to create one for yourself, you can click the link below to see how I did it.
