Make a vintage field notebook
I’m always looking for good gifts to give to my Dad for Father’s Day (we celebrate Father’s here in the US in June). And it always seems like a mind boggler!
But, because I can’t help making things with paper, I thought why not create for him a little field note book he could use – to track his gas mileage, keep lists that mom gives him, or plan his days!
So – I decided to do just that. I came up with a digital kit to use to make both the outside cover – which turns out to be more of a fauxdori type cover. I put elastic in it to keep little index card sized traveler’s notebooks for inserts.
I love the way it turned out, and I know my dad’s just going to love it. I might even sit down and make another for my husband – he’s always looking for a piece of paper in his truck to write things down on!
I’ve included the entire tutorial in the video below. If you’d like to check out the digital kit – you can get that right here. Aaaaaannnnndddd – if you want, you can enter the giveaway to get the kit for free (as I mentioned at the end of the video). Just head to this link here and add your comment before 6/1/20!
