Craft with me – Mini Pocket Altered Paperclips
Do you constantly find yourself adding bits to your junk journal? Receipts you want to keep track of? Lists scribbled on bits of paper when your journal wasn’t handy? Well, me too. So I wanted something that both held onto those little things – and also kept them in my journal where I could easily find them again.
Enter the pocket tag altered paperclip. I made these and truth be told, I love them even more now than when I first made them. They mark my place in my journal, I can write more notes on the little mini tag – and all my receipts from the other day are neatly stashed in a place where I can find them again when I decide if I need to take back those shorts that I wasn’t totally sure about in the first place!
What I love about these is that they are easy – but also they use up scraps! Besides a paperclip and some decorative ribbon – you only need about a 5″ x 2.25″ piece of cardstock! And if you are getting creative, you can use smaller pieces that compliment each other – one for the pocket and one for the tag.
If you are in the same boat as me and would like to make some of these adorable altered paperclips, you can checkout the tutorial below.
