Storage for little bits of ephemera

Do you lose your mind–er–I mean little bits of ephemera on your desk, floor or other black hole in your crafting space??

If you said “no”, we can no longer be friends. I’m just kidding.

But I was having problems keeping all those little pieces I love using in collage or when decorating my journals, so I needed to come up with a better way to organize them.

I have an ephemera holder – and it’s great. There are plenty of clear pockets to easily see what’s there, but when I had 50 itty bitty collage-y pieces stuck in there, it was hard to find what I wanted. And it was hard to pull everything out without losing some pieces…and then get them back in??

I hope you can see my dilemma.

So I came up with this ephemera envelope, which would lay flat when it was opened and I could put all my little pieces in there, and then easily sift through them and find what I was looking for.
